No Magic Bullet?
Ok if there is no such thing as instantaneous results, that doesn’t mean that you can’t get results in a few weeks.
There are a lot of awesome products and treatments that work over time. In order to succeed in having better skin, the most important thing to remember is that it takes at least 30 days to evaluate whether your home care products are working. And, at the same time, you need to have at least 4-6 treatments over the course of 12 weeks to produce real results.
I tell my clients “if you get great results in less than 6 treatments, that is better than average and an optimal outcome.” And you still have to maintain those results over time.
There are many factors that affect the outcome of any skin care program and those are the subjects that we cover in the initial consultation and during the course of treatments.
And in the meantime, the best way to approach any skin care program is to have realistic expectations. It is important to work with someone who can help you manage your expectations by educating you about the process required to help you reach your goals.
Cheers,
Sue
